Objective
The handcrafted lettering and whimsical design on the book cover reflect its larger-than-life narrative, while the subdued color palette stays true to the emotional themes of the book

Taking inspiration from Saul Bass, I designed a book cover featuring a hand-lettered title that filled the shape of a fish, which I later transformed into a vectorized final design.
I transformed my hand-lettered title into a horizontal layout for the interior title page. To maintain a sense of playfulness, I incorporated the author's name and chapter titles into the design of a fishing line.
